Where Do I Get the Plans From for Metal Walls an Concrete Walls in Fallout 76

fallout 76 discussion and inform - Yet Another Post with CAMP items - Signs, Concrete Walls, More.

I've held off on suggesting new things because so much is broke, but here is a list of items I'd like to see. I fully admit some of these have been suggested before. Things marked with Atom I feel would be appropriate for the atom shop (as in not advantageous in any way) and that I would pay for. Same with 1st. So in no particular order.

  • Concrete Wall: I like the ascetic of a masonry wall. Yeah, They'd be breakable unlike stacked foundations, but they'd have the highest durability in the game as well as being invulnerable to pretty much anything but melee bashing. They would also cost the most of any wall.
  • Interior Wall: Mentioned before – coming in all varieties from wood, metal, warehouse, barn.
  • Pier/Shack build set: I think this was never officially released. It's possible with the FO4 homemaker mod.
  • Signs: Specifically, signs we can write on, up to 250 characters. They can come in multiple forms, like a posted note, or a poster. Several handwriting fonts available. The point of signs is, regardless of what is written on them they are 1 object for the graphic engine to process, unlike 1 object per letter for neon and stuff like that.
  • (ATOM) Metal Roofs: And other roof options. The same barn wood roofs are boring.
  • Additional 2×1, 2×2, 2×3, 3×3 foundation groups: These can silently be put into the game as an optimization. When a player places foundations in these common patterns the game will group them into one object to reduce mesh complexity and render times.
  • Spawn Targets: While recommended by several people, I'd like to see these in both personal and guest varieties. I want to spawn in next to my bed – I want my guests to spawn in next to my vending machines.
  • Clutters: These are groups of objects that can snap to tables and chairs to make the place feel lived in.
  • Foundation and scaffold pieces from Automatron.
  • Edge snapping for stairs. So we don't have to use the 2×1 prefab to get a stair up against the wall.
  • Off center doors: To go with off center stairs.
  • Floating foundations should not be climbable. The game can detect if a foundation is floating. When it is, it shouldn't have that zone around it that lets players climb up on it. That same zone makes the space next to the wall unusable.
  • (ATOM) Additional workbench skins: I get tired of seeing the same tinker, and armor benches all the time – these two are especially bad since they have no alts.
  • Search: As with Minecraft, there are now so many items in the shop that finding one can be tedious. If we know it's name, we should be able to search for it.
  • Water Barrels: Fill with dirty water after a rain.
  • Mr. Handy: As long as you have scrap for a repair, he'll repair you stuff.
  • Variable Budget: The camp work budget should vary by the number of pre-existing objects in the area. If you build near a cluttered area the budget will be what it is now, but if you are out in the middle of nowhere you should be able to have a higher budget.
  • (1st) Multicamp: You can save multiple camps (up to 5) and set their load order. When entering a world the game will load in the camp that is highest on the load order that it can load.
  • CAMPS destroy TENTS: If a TENT is the only reason a camp can't be placed, the tent is despawned. It's currently all but impossible to set a camp near Whitesprings now because of the tents.
  • Team Stash: Items put in these stash boxes can be removed by any member of your team. They count against the weight limit of the person who last put them in the stash box.
  • (ATOM) Barn Paint: Paint your exterior barn walls colors other than red. Paint signs on them, like "See Stone City" (Fallout Universe equiv to Rock City).
  • (ATOM) Wind driven water pump: Produces up to 10 dirty water an hour.
  • (ATOM) Grain silos
